Mattress/Box Spring Recycling

The Authority procured a Master Service Agreement for Mattress/Box Spring Collection and Recycling Services for our Members. Under this Agreement, the contractor is responsible for picking up the mattresses and box springs that are collected by the jurisdictions, typically at their landfill, transfer station or other dedicated collection/resident drop-off site and transporting the material to the contractor’s processing site for recycling services. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for direct on-call residential curbside collection of mattress/box springs, as desired by the applicable Member Jurisdiction.
